About The Boarding House

You’ll love it here!

It’s a Labor of Love!

After a 9-month renovation, Ladd and I are thrilled to announce the opening of The Boarding House, an eight-room “cowboy luxury” hotel in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

The building was constructed in 1920 and originally housed “The Indian Silk Shop” as well as “Curios and Pickens Ready-to-Wear.” It later became a J.C. Penney department store, where some residents of Pawhuska still remember going to shop as a child. We are honored to breathe new life into this old gem and let its natural beauty shine.  “The BH” is ready to welcome new and returning visitors to our small town!

Eight Charming Suites

Creating only eight Boarding House rooms meant we could have a little fun and make each one unique. See which one you love best.

It’s the Little Things in Life

Turned down sheets, a truffle on your pillow, help with your luggage. These are the things that make a guest feel at home, and only a hint of what we offer guests.

Prepared with Love

Whether you’re in the mood for a dinner in town or a snack in your PJ’s, one thing our guests never have to worry about is being fed. We’ve got you covered!

Ladd and I hope you feel right at home and have an unforgettable experience here at The Boarding House!
